Statistics are generally fun and interesting, although today a bit depressing. Glilad Mishne of the ILPS built a nifty tool for tracking the current moods in the livejournal community. A friend of mine just pointed out an increase in "sad" and "worried". Was it possibly related to the recent london blasts? Anyway, I think this illustrates a potential we've rarely explored in understanding online community - very clever stuff.
